Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 Basic Salary + Overtime Available
Location: Primarily Northamptonshire Based But Visiting Sites In The UK

Wanted: Field Service Engineer to join a well known & established Mechanical Engineering company. My client is a major player in drilling, pilling, foundational engineering & hydraulic engineering.
Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair complex machinery and equipment at customer sites.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions.
• Collaborate with customers to identify and resolve technical issues.
• Provide training to customers on proper equipment operation and maintenance.
• Document service activities, including repairs, parts used, and customer interactions.

Skills & Experience Needed:

• Experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar role.
• NVQ in heavy plant level 3 or level 2 if the candidate can provide good experience.
• Good understanding of CAN BUS systems.
• Strong mechanical and hydraulic skills.
• Proficient in reading technical diagrams and manuals.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and travel to customer sites as needed.
• Valid driver's license.
