The One Group are pleased to be working with an electric and hybrid engineering and testing services company who are based in Silverstone seeking an Principal Electrical Engineer to work on a range of electric vehicle technology projects.

My client provides work class technical innovation, engineering and testing services to their customers across the Automotive, Motorsport, Aerospace and Marine sectors and are growing at a fast rate.

The day-to-day duties include:

• Helping lead the Electrical Engineering team along with the head of the department.
• Support the team in producing robust design solutions that may arise from new product design and testing requirements.
• Design vehicle based electrical harnesses and systems for High Voltage Battery Systems and their architecture.
• Investigate and implement new technologies to the business.

What we are looking for:

• Electrical Engineering background within automotive or motorsport environments working within a design and development environment.
• Have experience in designing electric vehicle propulsion systems and be passionate about it.
• Experienced in leading a team of Electrical Design Engineers
• Have an understanding of Battery and HV Systems Verification and Validation methods.
