When finishing college I used to alternate between working in the local pub and working at a kids camp in Texas, after a couple of years I thought I better stick to one.
After several jobs in hospitality, construction, retail and sales I soon became another one of those sales people that wasn’t sure what they wanted to do and found themselves in recruitment, this was in 2016 and I haven’t looked back since. After learning “the ropes” recruiting in the IT sector for a couple of years, I quickly learned that I needed to be more of a specialist – prompting a move to The ONE Group, where I now specialise in IT Support & Infrastructure across East Anglia – my best move yet!
I love getting that satisfaction of placing a candidate whether it’s helping somebody take the next step in their career or their first role in the IT world are both equally rewarding.
Out of work I enjoy all things sports – watching, playing and competing – these vary from football, cricket, snooker and surfing! In 2017 I went on a trip around the world visiting 15 countries in 5 different continents, with notable highlights being a 5 day climb to Machu Picchu in Peru!
