We are looking for an experienced candidate to be part of a Network Operations Centre as an Access Administrator based in St. Ives, Cambridgeshire on an initial 3-6-month temporary basis with a potential view to become a permanent post.

This role will be paying up to £22,000pa dependent on experience and will be Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm - you will predominantly be based in the office with up to 2 days working from home per week.

In this position, you will be required to work on a project for one of the company's esteemed customers, providing a professional level of administration and customer service. You will be providing excellent support to field engineers to enable them to complete their work and report back to the customer in a timely and efficient manner.
During peak periods, you may be asked to help on the Service Desk - this will entail scheduling and allocating work to field engineers and providing them with any support as an when required.

Within this team, the pace is fast, and no 2 days are the same. You will be working collaboratively with other team members, field engineers as well as customers and 3rd party engineers to ensure all projects are smooth running and efficient.

Key responsibilities may include:

  • Raising and closing access tickets
  • Actively monitoring site alarms and CCTV
  • Ensuring all trackers and schedules are monitored accurately and are kept up to date
  • Producing ad-hoc reports
  • Working and communicating with internal stakeholders
  • Working with customers to ensure new sites are transitioned to the system correctly
  • Attending customer meetings


The ideal candidate for this position will be an excellent communicator both written and verbally and will have the ability to manage and organise their time effectively, including prioritising urgent requirements and working to tight deadlines. It is imperative to have outstanding customer service skills, along with a positive attitude to overcome any obstacles the come your way, allowing you to build long lasting relationships with the customers and engineers.
