An opportunity has arisen for an organised and enthusiastic Finance Assistant to work alongside an established team in the Northampton office on a 6 Month Contract.
This is a key role within the team so you must be able to carry out the following day to day duties, which are critical to the operation and performance of the department.
- Calculation and posting of Accruals & Prepayments.
- Reconciliation of Balance sheet and Profit and Loss.
- Processing of Purchase and Sales Ledger invoices.
- To carry out any other tasks that will, from time to time be allocated by the Head of Finance on an ad hoc or continuing basis, commensurate with the general level of responsibility of the post.
- Providing holiday and sickness cover within the Finance team as directed by the Head of Finance
- Assisting with the annual external audit
- Report KPI's as required
- Maintain Fixed Asset Register
- Manage Credit Card Administration
To be considered for the role you need to be familiar with a Finance environment, be IT literate, have great organisation and numerical skills and ideally have accounting knowledge.
