The growth that our client is experiencing is showing no sign of slowing down and they are currently recruiting for someone to join their group finance team to look after a busy Accounts Receivable team.

Reporting to the Ledger Manager, the role will suit someone who has proven experience of accounts receivable and all that goes with it, and is happy to look after a team of six.

The role will be varied and whilst you will be required to ensure that KPIs are met and that the team are working well, you will also need to be hands-on, leading by example.

Duties will include

• Taking responsibility for the invoicing schedule and ensuring all daily invoicing is complete
• Managing depots, branches, and currencies on accounts
• Monthly review of ledger and effective query resolution
• Reconciliation of AR accounts, general housekeeping and journal postings
• Reducing and controlling aged debt
• Reduce and resolve outstanding debit note and other queries
• Liaising with internal and external customers
• Ensure all month end processes are completed on time and in full
• Involvement in new ERP system implementation

As well as relevant experience in a similar role, the successful candidate will be a strong communicator, someone who can lead from the front and enjoy communicating with people at all levels.

Strong IT experience - particularly in Excel - is very important, and a keen eye for detail also key.

Ideally working on site 4 days a week with 1 day from home, there could be a little flexibility on this.
