Unnecessary admin and reporting procedures can be a headache for any sales person taking them away from what they love; selling.

So when a client calls with me a vacancy and says the company have a great culture with lots of autonomy and support and minimum admin and reporting what's not to love?!

Plus this client, who are a modern manufacturer with a global reach within the roofing, insulation and waterproofing market, have already hit their yearly sales target.

This field sales position is covering South London and Surrey, Kent, West Sussex, East Sussex, Hampshire and Berkshire, and responsible for selling single ply and green roof systems via architects, consultants and design & build contractors for use within the commercial new build and refurbishment sectors.

Other duties include:

• Developing and implementing an area business plan in order to achieve sales and margin targets
• Monitoring sales and margin performance against targets
• Liaise and co-operate with the technical support team and contractors to ensure that customer service requirements are exceeded
• Good relationships with customers are maintained and enhanced
• Develop specification bank through sales effort with specifiers and key clients
• Undertake sales/technical presentations to develop specification sales

The successful candidate will be results focused with the ability and drive to build on our existing specifier and contractor base while seeking out all important new opportunities.

On offer is a salary of up to £50k plus up to £12k bonus, hybrid car or allowance, pension, healthcare and 24 days holiday increasing to 26 day with service in addition to bank holidays.
