Due to a combination of the existing Team Leader retiring, and the assistant Team Leader stepping in to fulfil those shoes, our Royston based client have a great opportunity for someone to take over as an Assistant Team Leader in their impressive facility.

Although the site itself is large, the warehouse & stores unit is relatively modest so we are ideally looking for someone who's come from a small-ish warehouse or stores background. Not one of those warehouses with hundreds and hundreds of staff working there. This is because in a smaller environment, candidates generally get more exposure to different tasks outside of the norm and their skillsets become well-rounded.

There's a fairly small team to be lead, approximately five people. Supervisory experience would be great, but not essential. The role will be hands-on but you'll also have a lot of stock management duties, including; organising goods-in from production, processing receipts through SAP, stock transfers and KPI management.

What will you need?

  • Stores or warehouse experience
  • Good communication skills
  • Stock management exposure
  • Bonus points for supervisory experience & SAP knowledge!
