The One Group are pleased to be working with an Automotive Testing business in Bedfordshire who hold an excellent reputation within the sector and are seeking a Calibration Technician to join them on a permanent basis working a day shift.
Joining the Calibration Laboratory as a Technician you will be responsible for conducting a variety of instrument calibrations to ensure the validity and traceability of measurements in compliance with ISO 17025 requirements.
The day-to-day duties include:
- Calibration of a wide range measurement instruments
- Internal and external auditing
- Document and maintain existing standards, processes and KPI's
- Assist with continuous improvement projects
What we are looking for:
- Qualification in a relevant engineering discipline
- Understanding of ISO17025 standards
- Sound understanding of measurement uncertainty
This role will be working a day shift Monday-Friday 08:00am-16:00pm where you will be responsible for calibrating instruments for a range of departments within the company.
