We are looking for a person who loves to chat and enjoys being busy, sounds simple right? No, really this is the ideal person for this role as you will be talking to a wide range of people in this position so must enjoy talking, helping and supporting people as you will be the first point of contact within the business.

A range of calls will be coming your way, but you will have amazing training and be very well supported by the two other ladies who work with you in this department. To start with this role will be remote after you have finished your training before coming back into the office once social distancing is a thing of the past.

As a good receptionist, you need to be friendly and willing to help everyone who calls however difficult or easy the call is everyone should be greeted and handled the same way, you will be the first impression clients have of your business. Polite, professional, willing to be a team player and support other teams as required as they will do for you.

Your role will be answering the switchboard and looking after every caller in line with the excellent service standards they hold as a business. Logging all calls, transferring clients to various departments, acting as a gatekeeper to protect the time of the staff if required, taking messages and answering queries. Following up on feedback either good or bad, getting more information where required to be able to turn this into a positive experience is key.

I am looking to speak to previous receptionists, candidates who have handled various types of callers and people who enjoy chatting on the phone - work-related chat of course!

The company is well established and has numerous offices across the area so you will be good hands, also they have not had to make any redundancies during the pandemic, in fact, some teams have grown so you will be joining a very secure firm.
