Due to a recent growth we have a fantastic opportunity for the right person to take the next steps in their Design Engineering career.

We are on the lookout for a Design Engineer to produce effective designs, costing and provide great solutions for bespoke projects and clients.

Our client is known for creating bespoke machinery across many different industries such as FMCG, Automotive, Military, Defence and much more.

The engineering is impressive, with a number of prestige projects with that, wow - they managed that type feel!

On a day to day basis you'll be working on customers' requirements, reviewing technical drawings and developing great solutions. All products are materials handling related and you have a range of products & components to adapt to suit.
No two projects are the same and you'll need to think on your feet and be creative on many occasions using available space to the best effect.

Key Responsibilities:-

-Design bespoke handling solutions as per customer's requirements with the aid of SolidWorks and guided by similar historical designs or completely innovative design.
-Produce fabrication drawings (Detailing) ensuring compatibility with the company's production and raw-material codes, and issue them to the in-house workshop or third party fabricators.
- Discuss the design with customer and site surveyor to apply required changes to achieve the most desirable solution to the customer's need.
- Work closely with the fabrication team to resolve any unforeseen issues occurring during the fabrication, welding, assembling or testing stage.

What We're Looking For:-

The company and team carry a great camaraderie and feel, we'd love someone who enjoys working with people and being supported and developed in their knowledge and career.

In terms of your experience you will be a keen Design Engineer, hopefully with exposure to producing process machinery/capital equipment using SOLIDWORKS.

Holding good people skills and the want to communicate to deliver great solutions is key to long term success. As I said at the start this position is available due to internal promotion.

Sound like you? Hit apply please.
