The One Group are working with a leading manufacturer of high-performance engines in the Northamptonshire area and they have an exciting opportunity for a Design Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis to join their process engineering department.
Working within a busy manufacturing environment you will be responsible for the design and release of drawings which require ongoing reviews and revision of existing equipment and assembly tools.
Working within the process engineering department you will come up with design solutions for manufacturing jigs and fixtures, prototype assembly tools and production equipment to help improve quality and efficiency.
What we are looking for:
- Working knowledge of engine component functions, Cylinder heads and crankcase assembly
- Proficient in the use of Siemens NX 9-12 CAD package
- Experienced in designing jigs and fixtures and tooling within the engine manufacturing sector
