Digital Marketing Manager

£40,000 - £45,000

Hybrid Working - 1 day a week in either Northamptonshire or London (you choose)

We are looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to join a FTSE 100 company on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract to cover maternity leave.

In this role you will be invaluable in holding the forte for the next 12 months at a company where your hard work is recognised and rewarded! They always offer permanent roles to great people who have come in to hold the forte before.

The role will be responsible for delivering of the digital marketing objectives for the UK, working as a member of a wider (Global) Digital community sharing feedback, best practice and insights to continually improve the plan.

What you'd be doing for the next 12 months ...

  • Liaising with Group Performance Marketing to ensure all elements of the local digital performance marketing plan meet or exceed targets.
  • Feed in local market insight into digital marketing plans for Paid, Affiliate and SEO, Email & onsite trading activities
  • Support Digital activities to maximise performance
  • Work with the Snr Comms, Content and PR Manager develop and manage the market's social media strategy from planning, design through to execution. With the support of the social media executive promote the market on social media and grow the reach of their platforms through the acquisition of new followers, retain current followers by producing and managing engaging content, identifying opportunities to optimise and amplify marcomms
  • Collaborate on new and creative growth strategies, including building of new onsite features, as well as optimisation of existing, to achieve the market and regional commercial plan
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
  • Collaborate with agencies
  • Own communication between Markets and Digital & across Markets.
  • Manage an annual budget, ensuring all activity remains within budget and drives profitable ROI
  • Manage and support the development of one direct report, the Social Media Executive

What we'd love you to bring to the table...

  • Hands on digital, performance marketing and social media experience
  • Experience leading and managing SEO, paid digital media, paid social and display marketing activities.
  • Broad marketing experience across Comms, PR, Product and Content Marketing and commercial program management
  • Experience in identifying target audiences and devising effective commercial programs
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Experience in B2B / Ecommerce
  • Worked with external marketing agencies
  • Managed Budgets and a junior (or a readiness to manage)
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
  • Ability to develop brand and commercial programs and communicate recommendations
  • Strong analytical skills partnered with a creative mind
