This is a hands-on practical role, supporting optical and electrical testing for the engineering team. There's a great package available, too!
This is what you'll be doing:
- Perform optical and electrical tests on various device types at system and module level
- Report your findings to test team.
- Work with the team to identify ways to improve existing capabilities
- Contribute to failure analysis of devices under test
What skills and experience should you have?
- Experience working in a test lab or technical environment
- Able to follow and write SOPs
- Experience of accurate data collection, recording and entering it correctly
- Strong fault finding / problem solving techniques
- Able to understand and interpret engineering terminology
- Keen eye for quality and able to spot where improvements can be made
- Great communication skills
