Due to an internal reshuffle this long-established and hugely respected manufacturer of decorative building products is recruiting for a Field Sales Executive to cover Exeter, Plymouth, Torquay and Truro area (EX, PL, TQ and TR postcodes).

You will be responsible for promoting and selling a leading portfolio of products via specification to architects, interior designers, local authorities, housing associations and construction companies.

Sectors include healthcare, education, hospitality, leisure, office space, public buildings and housing.

It will also be important that you can successfully manage and grow a ledger of contractor customers.

Responsibilities include:

- Contributing to and implementing national promotional strategy and measuring own performance / effectiveness
- Driving regional promotions to give the territory a competitive advantage
- Strategically develop and manage nominated accounts to increase sustainable profitable sales growth
- Identify, develop and manage new business opportunities

What we are looking for?

- Proven field sales success from within construction / building products / interiors / decorative finishing products or related
- Experience targeting any of the following specifiers; architects, interior designers, local authorities or housing associations
- High levels of selling, negotiating, communication and presentation skills
- Sufficient technical aptitude and the ability to understand and communicate product information
High levels of self motivation, ambitious and experience working in a fast paced environment
- A full valid UK driving licence

On offer is a salary of up to £38,500 plus bonus, car, mobile phone, laptop, healthcare and a generous pension and holiday scheme.
