We're working with a leading life science company whose products are in labs all over the world. In this Field Service role, you'll be looking after some of the larger equipment like -70c freezers, incubators and centrifuges. Some of it is pretty bulky and heavy, so you should be comfortable with a reasonable level of manual handling.
The areas you'll be covering will primarily be Cambridge, Oxford and Birmingham (there may occasionally be some additional locations) and a vehicle and fuel card will be provided. You can expect to be 'on the road' up to 5 days a week, with a couple of days a month allocated for admin tasks. There won't be any call-outs!
It would be really useful if you are familiar with laboratory equipment, but not essential.
Good, solid, demonstrable experience working in a customer support role is necessary, ideally with a technical qualification. Electro-mechanical skills are essential and any experience with F-Gas or commercial refrigeration/air-conditioning would be a huge plus!
