Finance Associate

• Deal origination - researching for suitable targets to acquire and sell
• Interacting with shareholders and key management to help the deal origination process
• Appraising businesses on both buy and sell side transactions.
  • Market research to see how confident we are in our ability to sell
  • Valuations based on financial performance and balance sheets
• Assist Partners with preparing for meetings:
  • Coaching clients
  • Drafting agendas (buy-side)
  • Preparing presentations (sell side)
  • Negotiation meetings (post-offer stage)
• Assisting partners with preparing for pitches and also delivering them
• Business development - meeting other professionals such as commercial bankers and private equity to create contacts and connections
• Assisting Partners and Directors with preparing:
  • Financial forecasts
  • Due diligence data rooms (financial)
  • Information gathering exercises
• Get involved in internal meetings:
  • Discuss WIP
  • Help idea generation for anyone struggling with existing & new mandates
  • New business development ideas
  • Best practices

To be considered for this role, you need to be a qualified Accountant, be looking for a long-term career, be entrepreneurial and have previously worked in corporate finance.
