The One Group are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a fast-growing manufacturing business who are looking to appoint a Finance Business Partner, working in a small but impactful team.
This role can be based out of Spalding, Wisbech or St Neots but travel between sites is expected. This role requires an inquisitive and hands on approach and someone who can get underneath the numbers of the business.
This opportunity is perfect for a newly or nearly qualified applicant. Candidates who are qualified by experience who can bring the right approach will also be considered.
Day to day duties will include:
- Supporting the development and implementation of best financial practices
- Assisting with the financial forecasting
- Managing and achieving the financial targets and objectives
- Providing financial analysis to business unit management
- Supporting the financial decision and budget process
- Assisting in the preparation of the operating budget
- Supporting the preparation of management reports
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
Manufacturing experience would be desirable for the role, but not essential. You should be competent using Excel and have some exposure to ERP systems.
They are looking for someone who enjoys developing relationships with key stakeholders, as you will have access to the senior leadership team and have the opportunity to influence the business as well as looking for opportunities for continuous improvements.
