One of the largest business aviation operators in the world are looking for a Flight Crew Training Planner to join their team. You would be liaising with flight crew from all around the world, ensuring their training is current and they are able to fly.

The successful candidate will ideally have experience in either a Training Administrator or Planner role and/or experience in an airline operational environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and book all ground and simulator training events for flight crew.
  • Track and maintain the validity of documentation, as applicable.
  • Maintain training activity records using Excel, webforms and other applications as directed.
  • Produce weekly reports to the department manager and Nominated Postholders as required.
  • Manage the training related process for new pilot induction.
  • Liaise with all internal departments and external training providers.
  • Manage the Local Procedures Manual and update procedure, as required.
  • Perform internal audit and quality checks.
  • Complete daily invoicing tasks.
  • Support the manager in completing training revenue forecasts and other budgetary planning tasks.
  • Liaising with crew and external companies when booking course training.

Candidate Specification

  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications such as Microsoft Excel and SharePoint
  • Ability to build relationships remotely with a complex and demanding client base
  • Strong multitasking and time management skills
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong and well-developed presentation skills
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail

The following experience/skills would be desirable:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Experience using SalesForce
  • Additional languages

Benefits

  • Salary: £25,000 - £30,000.00 per annum
  • Loyalty award: £500 for each year of continuous service. Cumulating at £500 per year and capped at 10 years.
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. Flexibility on start/end times but core working hours are 10-4.
  • Death in service benefit: 4 x salary
  • Pension scheme: 5% employer contribution
  • PMI cover: individual cover on completion of probation
