I'm recruiting for a Head of National Accounts vacancy for a leading global brand within the building products / DIY sector with great career progression opportunities.

The successful applicant will lead a team of Account Managers and indirectly a group of Sales Merchandisers focused within the retail / DIY national multiples channel.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Strategic developing of the division
  • Full P&L & budget responsibility
  • Trading agreement development and senior level negotiations with top level accounts

To apply you need to have had experience working as a senior National Account Manager / Head of National Accounts / Commercial Director or Head of Channel Manager.

It is important that you have managed a remote sales team ideally Account Managers who target either the national DIY or Retail channels such as B&Q, Homebase, Wickes, Kingfisher.

This is a senior level management role therefore it is important that you have the ability to adapt and work with a cross section of senior colleagues and positively contribute to your team.

Additionally, you will be committed to continually improving performance within your division, have excellent attention to detail, set high standards and be extremely customer focused.
