If this is something you find yourself saying over the Christmas break, and you have HR Administration experience, then this may be your wish come true!

I am supporting an amazing HR team, based in Peterborough, in the search for an experienced HR Assistant to join them as soon as possible.

You will need to be organised and efficient with excellent communication skills and the motivation to learn and work on your own initiative.
This role will suit someone who enjoys a challenge and can prioritise work with good IT skills.

You will supporting the HR department with the administration and processing of all paperwork relating to the entire employee life cycle, including maintaining accurate and up to date information on the HR system.
You will also by providing first line HR advice and support to employee and line manager enquiries, escalating where necessary and providing and developing reports and information for the HR team.

Responsibilities will also include:
* Completion of all HR Administration in an effective and efficient manner and in line with payroll deadlines i.e. starters, leavers, correspondence etc.
* Support the HR team by attending probationary, disciplinary, grievance, performance, sickness meetings and home visits and taking notes, where required.
* Provide first line advice and support to Managers and Staff regarding any HR enquiries, referring queries and issues to the HR Advisor or HR Manager, where necessary.
* To accurately and promptly input employee data on the HR system, which complies with the Data Protection Act 2018.
* To produce employee letters and documents for the HR team in all matters relating to the employee life cycle.
* Provide advice and train all new starters on the new HR system and ensure that all incoming managers are trained as part of their induction process.
* To assist with the co-ordination and administration of recruitment and on-boarding activities including liaising with agencies, press adverts, interviews, offer letters and contracts.
* Look at ways of working, and propose ideas, for the administration area of the department to enhance service and streamline department processes.
* To support in the delivery of project work in line with the HR and Business Strategy.
