The ONE Group have partnered with a large secondary school, who is looking to appoint a HR Manager.
This school, based in West Cambridge, has an outstanding record and has grown significantly over the years.
Working closely with the Principal and the wider school, this generalist role will see you leading all operational and administrative duties to ensure the HR function is running smoothly.
Some of your duties will include:
Managing all aspects of recruitment from advertising through to creating contracts of employment, and completing right to work checks and DBS checks
Working closely with the Finance Director to oversee the monthly payroll for all staff
Leading and advising managers with employee relations issues
Maintaining all personnel, performance, sickness, and absence records
This is an office-based role, working 8am-4pm, 37 per week/term time plus training days (39 weeks) plus 4 weeks to be worked across the holidays.
We are looking for strong HR professionals who are organised and self-motivated, with high attention to detail. Remaining calm and professional whilst under pressure is also required, along with the ability to act with compassion on sensitive issues.
