Our client, a charitable organisation based in the Huntingdon area has an urgent requirement for an experienced finance professional to join them on a interim basis

Heading up a small finance team, the role will be integral in ensuring that the organisation successfully completes the year from a financial point of view and your primary focus will be

Successfully delivering the annual audit
Overseeing and providing advice and support to a small finance team, assisting where necessary
Production of financial reports and budgets and presentation to Executive team
Working closely with Chief Executive on business planning process, investigating areas to improve revenue streams
Business partnering with stakeholders, providing sound advice from a budgeting and finance perspective
Reviewing budgets and controls
Producing monthly management information and statutory accounts

This role will suit someone who has proven experience in the third sector and SORP accounting and is well-versed in successfully submitting an audit.

A commercial mindset will suit this role because there are plenty of projects in the works to keep an insightful mind occupied and the opportunity for a longer term role is also potentially available to the right person.
