IT Support Engineer - Windows 10

This new challenging role will give you the opportunity to work with a wide range of enterprise technologies in a busy department and you will have the opportunity to take responsibility for support tickets until completion and to work on new infrastructure projects.
Supporting 200 users across multiple sites and remotely within a small and friendly IT team. The role will be varied, challenging, and a good step for a career in IT support. We are looking for someone equally friendly, good communicating with non-IT people, and willing to learn.

Responsibilities:
Resolving IT support-related queries from around the various businesses
Troubleshoot and assist users face-to-face, by phone, by email or by remote access.
Upkeep of relevant documentation,
Maintaining inventories of IT equipment including mobiles
Carry out necessary support and monitoring activities (e.g. Anti-virus and Backups) to help maintain an efficient and robust infrastructure.
Implementation of infrastructure projects
After period of familiarisation provide out of hours support on when Senior Engineer is on holiday

Desirable Skills and Experience:
Microsoft Desktop and Server Products (Windows 10, Windows Server 2012/2016 , Exchange, o365)
Active Directory
Working knowledge of computer networks (Ping, Trace Route, DHCP)
Software installation
Configuration & Troubleshooting of Mobile Phones & Tablets
A natural problem solver with excellent troubleshooting skills
Ability to work in a team with good communications skills face to face and on the telephone
1st line IT support experience
Driving License as the role may require travel to other sites (pool car can be provided for business use)
