The ONE Group are delighted to be partnering with one of the region's leading educational establishments, who have a fantastic reputation in the local area. Following a period of growth they are looking to appoint an experienced and diligent Payroll professional to join them on a permanent basis.

This role isn't your run of the mill, end to end Payroll position.. It is a role which will see you overseeing payroll processes for the whole group and providing expert insight into process maintenance and improvements, not to mention playing the leading role in an upcoming project centred around strategy and system changes.

You will have the pleasure of managing and mentoring a Payroll Officer and will report directly into the HR Director with regular liaison with the finance team.

Day to day duties include:

• Managing and overseeing Payroll and Pension procedures.
• Supervising and supporting the Payroll Officer
• Ensuring that new statutory requirements are researched and successfully implemented
• Maintaining and improving current Payroll systems.
• Liaising with senior stakeholders across multiple apartment.
• Leading and managing all Payroll based projects across the group.

So what do we need from you? They are looking for a seasoned Payroll professional, who is well versed in leading small teams and heading up various projects. Experience in the Education sector is essential.

The salary will be determined by experience and skillset, full and part time candidates will both be considered (3 days a week minimum).

It will be 100% based at their Sawtry office to start with, with the opportunity to work a day or so from home a week once settled.
