Production Shift Manager

Question - what's better than a three day weekend?

Answer - a three day weekend, every week!

I am working with a business on a mission. A mission to become the biggest independent packaging producer within their category. Admittedly, they are a little way off it yet, but there's a real drive for improvement and huge ambition on the agenda.

They're not a national name, so there's a refreshing lack of red tape and politics. Instead, you've got a modest-sized site churning out huge amounts of volume with an impressively large customer base. Packaging demand has gone through the roof over the last year, so right now it's all about maintaining supply and keeping your customers happy.

Due to a recent internal re-shuffle, they are looking to add another Production Shift Manager into the mix. The shift itself is 14:00 - 00:00 (2pm - Midnight) Monday to Thursday, with every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday morning off. So after finishing work on Thursday night, you've pretty much got the next half of the week off.

I'm seeking someone who's got a passion for driving; driving production, driving change and driving efficiencies. Someone who can take hold of a shift and be that force that gets everything under control.

There's a great salary on offer, plus a chance to join a business who are poised for an excellent journey over the next few years. What are you waiting for?

What will you need?

  • Operational leadership experience within a packaging manufacturing site
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement
  • Hard-working, positive mentality

It's a really interesting role, with a truly exciting business so get your application in before it's too late!
