  • Assure product and process quality by designing testing methods; testing finished product and process capabilities; establishing standards; confirming manufacturing processes
  • Improve manufacturing efficiency by analysing and planning workflow, space requirements and equipment layout
  • Provide manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labour, and material costs; reviewing production schedules; estimating future requirements
  • Provide manufacturing decisions regarding the internal manufacture or an outsource strategy for key complex components
  • Direct support to the purchasing team to establish an improved R&D supply chain, and work with the Operations Manager to create a smooth transition of new and current products through manufacturing

About You:

  • Degree in mechanical engineering or experience
  • Manufacturing background focused on NPI
  • Project management experience
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office
  • Strong experience of supply chain management
  • Experience of improving quality systems within manufacturing
  • 5S / Lean manufacturing knowledge would be ideal
  • Experience in vacuum systems, pneumatics, gas systems and automation would be a big plus

With the company being based outside of the city, it's easy to get to and there's plenty of free parking, too. The benefits are decent and there's a warm and friendly culture.
