The One Group are working with a global company who manufacture natural gas and diesel engines and off highway machinery who are seeking a Rotating Electrics Component Design Engineer to join their team on 6 month contract.

Joining their companies Electronics department who are responsible for the design and development of electrical components used for their products where you will have the opportunity to focus on the design and development of starter motors and alternators for their engine ranges.

The day to day duties include:

• Plan and execute the development of rotating electric components
• Conduct FMEA on components
• Liaise in component and system design reviews
• Work with suppliers to identify and source components

What we are looking for:

• Technical Background with a degree in automotive engineering or control systems
• Engine component design and development experience on starters or alternators
• Strong communicator with a good understanding of development and validation
