Are you experienced Senior Design Engineer design engineer? Do you have a desire to work for a prestigious brand that manufacture high value components for the Automotive and Motorsport industries? Are you proficient in using NX.9? We are currently seeking a Senior Design Engineer on a permanent basis based in Northamptonshire.
The day to day duties for the design engineer position would include:
- Design solutions for powertrain components
- Liaise with other teams internally / externally to resolve any issues and ensure targets are being met
- Constantly reviewing and revising existing designs
- Attend technical meetings and actively engage within these
The successful design engineer will play a key role in designing various components and will take on key responsibilities within the on site design team. You will be required to work individually and within a team.
Skills required for this opportunity should include
- Proficient in NX.9 CAD
- Previous powertrain experience is essential
- 2+ years design experience
- Degree within engineering
- Any working knowledge of engine components and experience of using Teamcentre are highly desirable.
