Senior Network Engineer (Contract)

£500-£550 per day Inside IR35
Working for a company that sits at the heart of the digital world, you will be involved in a major Network and Infrastructure transformation project. The role will be split between project and BAU Operation Support. We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Network professional to join the Technology Operations team providing Cisco Network Support.
The Role:
- Provide Network Support for the global infrastructure
- Support Network projects
- Monitoring and response to network alerts/incidents, updating known error, workaround database and problem logs.
- Provide internal consulting and mentoring to the IT infrastructure teams
- Contribute to improvement initiatives
What we are looking for…
- Relevant Cisco certification (CCNP, CCSP, CCDP ect)
- Experience in deploying and maintaining large complex vendor agnostic networks.
- Must have strong WAN-LAN network experience, including administration and physical installation of routers, switches, wireless, telephony and firewalls.
- Strong understanding of Networking protocols BGP, OSPF, QoS etc.
- Capable of performing network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose complex network problems.
This contract is initially until the end of March 2022; however, it is likely to be extended.
