Senior Software Engineer - Cambridge - £50,000 - £60,000

The ONE Group have partnered with a successful, radio-based product manufacturer, who are based north of Cambridge.

They are looking to recruit an experience Engineer with hands-on experience within the wireless communications industry and protocol layer 3.

Working within a small passionate Engineering team, you will be implementing new designs, enhancing the existing software, analysing technical requirements, and dealing with customer issues.

What you'll need:

• Extensive experience in C/C++ development
• In-depth knowledge of 3GPP standards (5G NR, LTE, GSM OR UMTS/WCDMA)
• Proficiency with RRC (Radio Resource Control)
• Knowledge of digital communication systems, ideally with exposure to signal processing
• Development experience of protocol layer 3

The ideal addition to the team would be someone who can work under their own initiative, have a specialism with 5G and have a desire for self-improvement, as well as exceptional communication skills!

Although it would be ideal for you to be Cambridge based, they are able to offer flexibility with remote working, but you would be required to travel to their Cambridge office a few times a month.
