The Cambridge area is bustling with R&D consultancies and medical device companies and we're proud to be partnering with one of them to recruit a Senior Systems Engineer who is familiar with working in collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment.

This Cambridge based team really are a force to be reckoned with when it comes to developing leading-edge products across a spectrum of industries. And their team is home to some of the most well-respected scientists and engineers in the world. Why do they like working there? If you've always worked with medical devices but have dreams of working on consumer projects, then this company will enable you to do that.

With your shining academic record and 5+ years' experience working in a similar environment, you'll be a Systems Engineer who knows how to lead a technical team, converse comfortably with clients and understand their requirements, translating them into products.

You will need to have worked on complex systems, like surgical robotics or diagnostic devices) in a multi-disciplinary team (electronics, software, mechanics) in particular, complex electronics hardware with software algorithms for devices or systems. This is a hands-on role which will put your design experience and knowledge to the test. Tricky systems won't scare you off; in fact, you'll be the person who gravitates towards them. You'll also need to be familiar with working to regulatory constraints, ideally in a medical domain.

Although already experienced, there will still be plenty of further opportunities to grow and develop within this talented, cross-disciplinary team.
