A Cambridge-based, science and advisory company are looking to recruit a Senior Test Engineer to join their agile team. You will hit the ground running testing embedded platform software and radio modules. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to take the next step in their career and get exposure to automation.
This is currently remote but will be full time in the office after the pandemic. This will help you become an integral part of the team, develop test plans and strategies and develop junior testers.
Typical Responsibilities:
- Support the Test Team Lead in the definition and documentation of test strategy
- Work with development teams to ensure new features are successfully and smoothly developed
- Run and debug test cases
- Analyse test results and generate test reports
- Amend tests and perform regression tests
- Carry out manual tests for releases and reproduce defects
- Troubleshoot issues with quality and modify test procedures
If you:
- Have a degree in a related field
- Have testing experience in an embedded environment
- Ideally have the ISTQB qualification
- Have experience with WiFI or Bluetooth communication methods
- Have experience with digital radio or networking products
