A great opportunity for a Social Media Manager to join a household name in the retail sector, this position is based in Chesterfield and could end up going perm for the right person!

We are looking to speak to experienced Social Media Managers who can come and make an impact and add value in a short space of time. You will also have to be numerate with strong analytical skills along with previous photography and videography skills. It is important you are organised, can work to a plan and work off your own initiative, you will be well supported by management and have excellent training on arrival to the business. Attention to detail, creativity and Photoshop knowledge are all required and if you have worked for a lifestyle brand, retail or within tv previously this could give you an advantage but is not essential.

The main responsibility in this role is to organise and oversee Social Media accounts for all brands whilst supporting the Sales and Marketing Manager to implement and improve the Social Media Plan they currently have in place.

Within this position you will create all social media content graphics, schedule and publish relevant and original content across our social media channels using Hootsuite

  • Liaise with planning team to ensure scheduled TV show changes are communicated on Social Media platforms.
  • Liaise with Sales & Marketing Manager to ensure specific daily promotions are communicated on Social Media platforms
  • Develop, implement and manage a full social media strategy for each channel
  • Develop and implement engaging monthly social media calendars for each channel
  • Create, run and measure small and large-scale social media campaigns and competitions
  • Plan, schedule and report on Facebook Live activity across all brand pages
  • Identify emergent, consistent and seasonal search content trends
  • Create content briefs for both our internal team to produce designs / videos as well as our contributors to produce finished makes
  • Liaise closely with contributors and bloggers to co-ordinate social media activity;
  • Create, promote and maintain our external craft events on our social media;
  • Be the point of contact with customer services and maintain a very healthy relationship with our audience
  • Produce monthly reports and plan next month's goals and KPIs
  • Boost posts and create Facebook ads
  • Organise meetings and liaise with creative teams on customer feedback and comments on new launches
  • Create engaging, informative and inspiring email campaigns to promote new show launches, new concept ideas and inform customers about educational material available on our social platforms
  • Update all Pinterest & YouTube channels with educational and inspiring product photography and edited videography
  • Manage and create content for Facebook brand groups, and feedback customer points when required
  • Where appropriate, set up and optimise new company pages within each platform to increase visibility of company's social content and product
  • Monitor and report on competitor social media channels and activity
