My client is constantly seeking innovative ways to deliver word beating technologies and are seeking a motivated individual to join their quality team as a Supplier Development Manager.
Ideally you will come from the powertrain industry within a supplier quality, procurement, or supply chain manager roles where you can interpret data and get the best out of your suppliers.
The day-to-day duties include:
- Collaborate with key stakeholders in the business to determine the effects of their partners current performance to ensure the company can fulfil customer requirements
- Identify strategic partners who show a clear requirement
- Work with management to develop strategic partners
- Coach suppliers' management teams through supplier improvement planning
What we are looking for:
- Evaluations of supplier's strengths and weaknesses based on data
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proactive and self-motivated approach who takes responsibility and pride in their work
- Experience in the powertrain industry within a supplier quality, supply chain or procurement role
