Their private banking team has grown rapidly over the last 12 months and now have the opportunity for an innovative experienced Training Manager to join them on their journey.

Job duties:

  • Assisting with the design, development, and implementation of L&D training programmes to ensure needs are met by all levels within the department.
  • To work closely with senior management and HR to ensure the L&D offering is up to date and meeting the needs of the business.
  • Delivery of training including at induction to ensure they have an all-round understanding of policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Leadership of 8 - 10 individuals in the department this includes coaching, performance management, ensuring adherence to business standards.
  • Undertaking mid-year and end of year reviews for the team.
  • Design training materials for the department using various tools provided.
  • Reporting and updating senior management on the progress of training programmes and initiatives.

To be considered for this role you must demonstrate:

  • A personable and approachable personality and have experience of training at all levels within a business.
  • Experience in implementing and delivering training programmes.
  • Knowledge of the banking or financial services industry.
  • Excellent presentation skills and be engaging.
