Our Values

Our History and Memories

Sphere Financial Recruitment was formed to create 'Recruitment as it should be' by Tristan Drane, Anthony Barnes and David Bord.	We opened our new Peterborough office in Lynchwood.	We launched our Business Services Division.	We opened our Cambridge office based in Histon.
Sphere Financial Recruitment was re-branded to The ONE Group, with two offices opening in Cambridge and Peterborough.	We launched our Engineering & Manufacturing Division.	We launched our Technology Division.	We launched our Human Resources and Marketing & Creative Divisions.
Our Northampton Office was born! Launched by Marc Kent with a team of six consultants.	Our Peterborough team relocated to our new HQ!	Our Cambridge team relocated to our new home in Cambourne.	David Bord, one of the Founding Directors leaves the business.
Rob Smith was promoted and joined the board as our Finance Director!	Catherine Wallis was promoted and joined the board as our Operations Director!	Our most successful year in recruitment having placed over 1200 great candidates: 913 permanent, 380 temporary.	We launched the ‘Anthony Barnes Beyond Expectations Award’. A special recognition award to acknowledge excellent customer service and to honour Anthony Barnes (Director), whose memory will always be with us.
We were awarded Business of the Year 2023 at the SME Northamptonshire Business Awards!	We launched our fourth office in Potters Bar!	We were awarded Employer of the Year 2023 at the SME Hertfordshire Business Awards & SME Cambridgeshire Business Awards!	Marc Kent was promoted and joined the board as our Commercial Director!
We launched our Scientific Division to further develop Life Sciences, Nanotechnology, Medical Devices and more.	To date, we have raised £163,316 for our chosen charity, Magpas Air Ambulance.	We are celebrating 20 years of Recruitment as it should be!	Anne Williams was promoted and joined the board as our Associate Director!
