Are you looking to start a new role in March? An excellent opportunity for an Account Director to join a marketing agency that create impactful experiences and deliver results, working in a collaboration with some excellent premium brands.

This is a fixed term contract covering maternity leave.

The role will be covering an alcohol brand, you will need to be able to hit the ground running, Shopper and agency experience will be key. If you are a dynamic and ambitious Account Director who has years of experience behind them, managing client relationships and leading a team to success then this would be a fantastic opportunity.

Overview of the Role:

As a senior member of the client service team for this creative marketing agency, you will be at the centre of the client services team, shaping the strategy and managing client relationships.
Manage a small team of Senior Account Managers, Account Managers, and Account Executives, have responsibility for excellent servicing of their clients and account profitability.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management: Keep a watchful eye on project budgets, cost estimates, and invoices, ensuring financial success.
  • Commercial Background: Bring your creative thinking to the table, identifying opportunities to boost efficiency and grow existing projects and accounts.
  • Client Relationships: Foster strong relationships with senior client contacts, both in-person and virtually, for seamless project execution.
  • Job Management: Leverage an in-house job management system to communicate costs, forecasts, and billing to both the business and clients.
  • Key Account Plans: Play a pivotal role in developing Key Account Plans for clients, proactively seeking ways to expand accounts and introduce innovative services.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with creative directors to plan and deliver creative projects. Ensure your team is on the right track and that clients are happy.
  • Delegation: Delegate tasks effectively, matching them with team members skills and availability.
  • Multitasking: Juggle multiple accounts, projects, and stakeholders, making sure all work is delivered successfully while managing expectations.
  • Presentations: Take charge of client pitches, creative responses, and large project status meetings.
  • Reporting: Ensure all reporting requirements, whether for clients or internal stakeholders, are met accurately and on time.
  • New Business: Identify and seize new business opportunities within both new and existing clients.


Ideally you will have:

  • A track record as an Account Director in a marketing agency
  • Shopper and agency background
  • Outstanding communication skills to foster relationships with suppliers, clients, and colleagues.
  • Thrive in fast-paced, high-energy environments.
  • Be available to start the contract in March.


This company offers hybrid working and a 3pm finish on a Friday.
