About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and driven Account Manager to play a pivotal role in managing and developing customer relationships, ensuring the seamless delivery of products, and contributing to the overall success of the business. As an Account Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for customers, overseeing all stages from order processing to delivery, and collaborating with internal teams to meet customer expectations.
Role Overview:
This is a hands-on role requiring excellent communication, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will manage customer accounts, prepare quotations, process orders, and contribute to business development activities. Your ability to build strong relationships with both customers and internal stakeholders will be key to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Quotation & Order Management
    • Prepare and submit accurate quotations based on customer requirements and internal margins.
    • Collaborate with teams across Purchasing, Engineering, and Manufacturing to ensure timely delivery and cost-effective solutions.
    • Oversee customer orders from initial quotation through to delivery, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration
    • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, fostering strong relationships and ensuring expectations are met.
    • Coordinate with internal teams, including Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Engineering, to ensure material procurement, manufacturing, and testing are aligned with customer deadlines.
  • Business Development & Relationship Building
    • Support business development activities, including preparing quotes for new customers.
    • Develop strong relationships with customers, gaining an in-depth understanding of their business needs and providing tailored solutions.
    • Support the sales team in executing strategies to grow revenue and expand the customer base.
  • Order Book & RMA Management
    • Manage customer order books, ensuring all orders are processed accurately and timelines are met.
    • Handle Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs), coordinating repairs and communicating costs to customers as needed.
  • Reporting & Strategy Sharing
    • Attend regular sales meetings to share insights, updates, and key customer information with the team.
    • Provide management with updates on customer strategies, challenges, and opportunities for growth.

  • Strong experience in account management, ideally within the contract electronics manufacturing sector or a related industry.
  • Exceptional communication skills and a proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams to meet customer demands and solve problems effectively.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, cost management, and order fulfilment.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and driven to deliver high-quality results.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
