Business Development Manager - DACH (RF & Critical Communications)

Location: Germany (home-based) | Extensive travel across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland

A global leader in mission-critical communications is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth across the DACHregion (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland), focusing on RF and Broadband communication solutions tailored for critical industries, including public safety, transportation, utilities, and emergency services.

This is a high-impact, field-based role ideal for a strategic sales professional with a strong technical understanding of RF solutions and the ability to build trusted relationships across public and private sector clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow an established portfolio of RF communication business across the DACH region.
  • Develop and execute a regional sales strategy for radio frequency and broadband communication solutions.
  • Strengthen partnerships with current distributors and explore new market channels and verticals.
  • Work directly with end users and local partners to stay engaged with the market and influence key stakeholders.
  • Identify, qualify, and shape customer requirements into compelling value propositions.
  • Develop and own account plans in collaboration with internal stakeholders, including engineering and operations.
  • Feed customer insights into product and solution development teams to ensure alignment with market needs.
  • Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline through the company's CRM system.
  • Lead negotiations and manage the full sales lifecycle, including tenders and complex proposals.
  • Represent the company at trade events and within key industry forums.

What You'll Bring:

  • Proven success in RF, wireless, or communication technology sales, ideally within mission-critical or public safety environments.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to identify and capture new business opportunities across multiple sectors.
  • Experience working with or selling into government agencies, public safety services, or critical national infrastructure clients.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, including at C-level.
  • Strategic mindset with a hands-on, self-motivated approach.
  • Fluent in German and English (spoken and written).
  • A bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • Comfortable with extensive travel across the DACH region.
  • Based in Germany or surrounding areas within DACH.
