As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for contract delivery, business strategy, and maximising identified opportunities within the defence sector.
Responsibilities:
- Contract Delivery: Manage the full route to contract, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
- Business Strategy: Contribute to the development and execution of business strategies, aligning with company goals and objectives.
- Maximising Opportunities: Identify and capitalise on business opportunities within the defence industry landscape.
- Bidding Process Leadership: Drive the bidding process, fostering cross-functional collaboration to deliver competitive costs and proposals.
- Contract Negotiations: Lead negotiations, reviewing, negotiating, drafting, and agreeing on bespoke contract terms and conditions.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in commercial management within the defence industry.
- Strong understanding of MoD contracting structure, including DEFCONs and QDCs.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of successful contract delivery.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and pursue business opportunities.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, able to work collaboratively across functions.
This is a hybrid role which will require your presence in the office 3 days a week.
