A renowned and much-loved charity saving lives across Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, and the East of England for over 50 years, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Corporate, Community & Events Fundraising Manager to join their dedicated team. With a brand new, state-of-the-art offices & HQ and a passionate group of fundraisers, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of crucial income streams.

Role Summary:

As the Corporate, Community & Events Fundraising Manager, you will be responsible for producing and implementing a sustainable fundraising strategy, plan, and budget. Your role will focus on maximising income from existing supporters, acquiring new support, and meeting annual targets.
Additionally, you will lead and develop the Corporate, Community, and Events Fundraising team & volunteers, oversee the Community CPR programme, and manage community engagement and events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a robust Corporate, Community & Events fundraising strategy, plan & budget. This strategy aims to not only maximise income from existing supporters but also drive the acquisition of new support to achieve annual targets effectively.

  • Take charge of leading and nurturing the Corporate, Community, and Events Fundraising team & volunteers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

  • Provide oversight and contribute to the enhancement of the charity's Community CPR programme, ensuring its growth and impact align with organisational goals.

  • Supervise and coordinate community engagement initiatives and events at their HQ, ensuring a seamless and impactful experience for participants and stakeholders.


To be successful in this role, you should posses:

  • A strong background in fundraising, demonstrating a track record of successfully raising income through community, corporate, and events activities.

  • Proven experience in creating and executing Corporate, Community & Events fundraising strategies and budgets, showcasing your ability to meet and exceed goals.

  • Demonstrated success in delivering excellent supporter stewardship, including the development and implementation of comprehensive stewardship plans.

  • Experience collaborating with communications and marketing teams, effectively promoting and marketing fundraising events.

  • Proven ability to manage, motivate, and develop corporate, community, and events fundraisers & volunteers, fostering a positive and productive team environment.

  • Proficiency in utilising data for fundraising purposes, including data analysis and reporting, to inform strategic decision-making.
