The ONE Group are delighted to be partnering with a PE backed services business based on the outskirts of Peterborough, who are looking to appoint a Credit Control Manager on a permanent and full time basis. This role will see you positioned in the office 5 days a week, with flexible working hours.

Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will play a key role overseeing the businesses Credit Control and Sales Ledger functions, as well as managing a small team. Managerial experience isn't essential for the role, this could be a great step up for a Senior Credit Controller looking to showcase their potential in a more challenging post.

Duties and responsibilities in the role will include:

• Complete management of Credit Control & Sales Ledger
• Management of a small team
• Driving process improvement
• Credit Limit management and new customer onboarding
• Aged Debtor reports
• Invoice query management
• Reconciling invoices

So what would the ideal candidate look like? You'll need to be AAT qualified with a proven background of credit control experience. Knowledge of Sage 200 would be an advantage, as well as being comfortable working in a busy accounts department. You should be open to change and encourage new ways of working and process improvement.

The salary for the role is paying up to £38,000 per annum, depending on experience.
