The Finance & Accountancy Division at The One Group is currently recruiting for a Credit Controller on the behalf of a globally manufacturing business based in Northampton. This is a 12 Month FTC Role to cover Maternity Leave. Reporting into the Sales Ledger Manager, you will be responsible in working closely with customers to resolve billing issues, monitor credit limits and accurately maintain customer records.
As the Credit Control Clerk, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Generating and sending invoices to customers in a timely manner
- Assessing the credit worthiness of new and existing customers
- Reconciling customer accounts, resolving any discrepancies
- Chasing overdue payments and resolving any customer queries
- Providing regular reports on customer accounts status
- Building relationships with customers, sales team and other stakeholders
- Ad hoc other duties required by the Sales Ledger Manager or Finance Team
As the Credit Control Clerk, you mist be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
- Previous experience in a credit control and / or sales ledger duties
- Excellent communication skills
- Good attention to detail and accuracy skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient on accounting systems and Excel
