A unique opportunity has become available for a Lead Engineer to become the technical interface between the employer and their international suppliers. If you wouldn't mind travelling to countries such as Germany, Poland, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia then read on as this may be the one for you!
This long-standing client of The ONE GROUP are recruiting their next Development and Production Lead engineer ideally with a PHD background that is operationally minded.

Key responsibilities
- Implement manufacturing processes to automate the manufacture and packaging of current product range.
- Ensure efficient stream of product purchases in conjunction with the Warehouse Manager.
- Responsible for inventory management including leadership of administration team.
- Start the research programme to develop Methyl Methacrylate (MMA) products for new applications for long term development.
- Reporting R&D progress to board level
- Maintain and improve ISO, HAPAS & HACCP certifications and ensure development is based on sustainable inputs.
- Prepare scaled up operational setup for delivery of new products to market.
The ideal profile is someone who has lab and research experience of producing MMA, even more advantageous if experience full life cycle from lab to application. It would be ideal if you have contributed doctoral thesis or published research papers in reference to MMA and applications.
