One thing we have relied on more than we usually would during the current pandemic is information, communication and direction from others. My clients Global internal and external Communications team comprises of specific functions and departments to ensure the right messages are relayed to the right people. This role will be working within the global Talent & Development function, playing a key role in driving and building a culture of lifelong learning and development.


The Transformation Programme is a global initiative designed to modernise learning and drive a culture of lifelong learning which is where this position comes in. The role will report into the T&D Strategy, Portfolio & Learning Transformation Programme Director and be responsible for developing and implementing internal communication strategies and marketing campaigns for the global T&D organisation, targeted towards both external and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate needs to have marketing and digital graphics and media creation support. The digital resource is about creating videos, ppt decks, animated gifs, etc. and about driving a digital campaign of engagement and the communication strategy behind that. The ideal candidate will also have some graphic artist capabilities.

Duties include;

  • Work cross-departmentally with T&D practice area leads to create and implement a digital-first integrated T&D communications plan to help drive awareness of the T&D brand and broaden awareness of global T&D programs and services
  • Develop leadership communications that promote T&D as a thought leader and trusted advisor in the industry. Develop and support VP T&D leadership communications including: presentations, Q&A, and briefing notes
  • Establish a digital presence and oversee a process for digital content development including maintaining content to ensure digital platforms are regularly refreshed and accurate; making requested updates, incorporating input from multiple sources and proactively suggesting improvements
  • Develop and execute a global promotional communication plan for our T&D offerings and launches including key elements of positioning, messaging, value proposition, creative campaign, and promotional pieces in support of growing stakeholder engagement
  • Provide creative designs for a wide variety of projects and working across all mediums to prepare creative graphic designs and materials, including charts, diagrams, infographics, videos, animations and written communications
  • Create all art work and marketing materials for internal promotion of the team's products and services
  • Develop, implement and optimise an omni-channel approach, including digital, media and social media tactics and assist with written communications and content development
  • Manage and analyse the effectiveness of media campaigns and digital presence
  • Utilise software tools and programmes to design attractive content that would engage the target audience
  • Web development knowledge being used to assist with editing of T&D intranet company site
  • Develop editorial calendar organising campaign messaging for multiple communication channels
  • Create and edit short video clips using iMovie
  • Prepare final product using content management systems, metadata and XML manipulation, and image post-production
  • Cultivate content marketing strategies targeted at driving traffic, engagement, delivering stories, retaining user interest and building brand awareness
  • Measure, track and report on effectiveness of digital communications campaigns and brand experiences across all platforms
  • Ability to manage and coordinate vendors and agencies
  • Maintain relationships with HR and Corporate Affairs partners and align to brand guidelines
  • Create internal branding/marketing communications materials and utilise intranet communication to promote organisational-wide initiatives


Skills required;

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations or related field
  • Large multinational / global organisation experience
  • 3-5 years professional experience in the Corporate Affairs arena with a focus on internal and external communications in an agency or corporation
  • Broad communications background that includes internal communications with a mix of content expertise in culture change, learning and development
  • Ability to synthesise ideas and transform them into compelling, clear communications
  • Strong organisational and project management skills
