This continuously evolving and developing research business is currently recruiting for a Facilities Coordinator in this newly created role.
The purpose of this role is to provide technical and facilities support to various buildings on the campus. You will be reporting to the Building & Facilities Manager providing assistance and advice to scientists regarding equipment purchase, siting & maintenance, glass-washing service, office and laboratory moves as well as other duties.
The successful applicant will have a background in Science as well as Health & Safety experience and will feel confident and comfortable communicating with staff at all levels. You will be well organised and will be capable of running multiple projects. There will also be a need for flexibility in working in order to provide out of hours support.
It would be advantageous if you have previously worked within a Lab environment and it would be highly beneficial to have an understanding of health and safety in a scientific environment.
