Our client has experienced healthy growth over the past couple of years and this is showing no sign of stopping in the coming years.
They are now looking to appoint a Financial Controller in a key position overseeing an enthusiastic team with varied skillsets and experience. This role will initially join on a 6 month contract but there is a strong chance of longevity for the right individual.
Taking day-to-day responsibility for the smooth running of the finance function duties will include
- Ensuring operational processes are maintained and deadlines adhered to
- Ensuring timely close of month end and delivering results to FD with commentary
- Working closely with FD on 5-year business plan
- Leading budgeting and reforecasting process
- Cost centre CAPEX requirements
- Sales forecasting and regular reviews
- Production of statutory accounts
- Tax compliance and reporting and supporting of treasury
- Ad hoc project work
The successful candidate will be an accomplished, post-qualified accountant with proven experience managing a team and ideally of working within a divisionalised business.
Experience working in a manufacturing or distribution environment would be highly advantageous but exposure to a fast-paced and evolving business is essential.
