One thing we have relied on more than we usually would during the current pandemic is information, communication and direction from others. My clients Global internal and external Communications team comprises of specific functions and departments to ensure the right messages are relayed to the right people. This role will be leading the global Talent & Development function, playing a key role in driving and building a culture of lifelong learning and development.
The Transformation Programme is a global initiative designed to modernise learning and drive a culture of lifelong learning which is where this position comes in. The role will report into the T&D Portfolio, Strategy Planning and Learning Transformation Programme Director and will be responsible for developing and implementing a communication strategy including goals, objectives and measurable KPIs for the T&D COE, in close collaboration with the T&D leadership team, across multiple communication platforms and program/campaign strategies.

Duties include;

  • Supports the VP, T&D and leadership team in the preparation of internal and external presentations and other important corporate messages
  • Develop and execute social media strategy and grow T&D CoE's digital presence across all channels, including the intranet site
  • Manages the digital communications specialist and agency support resources to deliver compelling content across graphics and video, with a keen eye for digital marketing integration
  • Monitors and prepares for key stakeholders reports on strategic T&D communication metrics, benefits realisation and data analysis
  • Lead in the preparation of brochures (ie. T&D Offerings), reports, and other communication materials
  • Collaborates with internal teams to enhance brand standards and content across all channels
  • Develop and implement a communication strategy that aligns with company Growth Through Innovation strategy and the brand
  • Helps create marketing campaigns to promote new T&D products and services

Skills required;

  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing or Business
  • Large multinational / global organisation experience
  • 3-5 years professional experience in the Corporate Affairs arena with a focus on internal and external communications in an agency or corporation
  • Proven track record with branding, integrated marketing strategy, messaging and positioning
  • Broad communications background that includes internal communications with mix of content expertise in culture change, learning and development
  • Ability to synthesize ideas and transform them into compelling, clear communications
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Strong writing and presentation skills
