I am delighted to be supporting a well-established, Ofsted outstanding further education organisation based in East of London as they are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join their friendly, inclusive and diverse team.
This is an exciting "temp to perm" opportunity reporting into the Executive Director of HR & Organisational Development where you will provide a proactive and professional HR support service to a designated client group, you will be involved in recruitment, be the main contact for all HR issues and will manage and monitor HR service delivery through the wider HR team. As part of your duties you will:
- Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders
- Manage the recruitment process
- Employee Relations - guide and support throughout formal disciplinary, grievance,, capability redundancy, sickness absence, attending hearings, taking minutes, and issuing all relevant paperwork relating to the process
- Provide training and informal coaching to Line Managers
- Collective redundancy consultations
- Implementation of policies and procedures
- Assist in formulating HR strategies, policies, plans and processes
We are looking for someone who is ready to start immediately. Please note that this is a busy role that requires presence in the office (some flexibility can be discussed).
You will require the following experience:
- Ideally CIPD Qualified or equivalent
- Up to date knowledge and understanding of Employment Law
- Experience of advising on a broad range of HR issues, OD and Change Management issues
- Experience of guiding and supporting managers with casework issues
- Experience of understanding, interpreting and advising on complex policies and procedures
- Experience of working in a unionised environment
- Ideally with experience of working in the FE Sector or wider Public Sector
Salary £37-49,500 plus benefits
